The 24-year-old spoke candidly about her experiences in the film and fashion industries in a recent interview with News18. Here’s all Urfi had to say about everything from crafting her own ensembles to dealing with industry trolls. “That’s the point, I don’t have to manage it,” the social media star told News18.
“Why should I take care of it? It is not my responsibility to respond to anyone who doesn’t like me. It’s fine if you don’t like me. How are people meant to like me when they don’t even like their own children? It’s unrealistic to expect everyone to like me. I don’t give a damn if people like me or not.” “To be honest, I do not want to be compared with anyone. I am just being myself. Yes, I do take inspiration, sorry copy hi keh lo, copy karti hoon main. But, theek hai yaar, kaun nahi karta hai copy? Kaunsa aisa Indian designer hai jo nahi karta hai copy? (Say copy, I do copy people. But it’s okay, who doesn’t? Which Indian designer doesn’t copy?) Because things are not available to people like us, and I love fashion. I love Zendaya, so being compared to her or Kendall Jenner is not a bad thing. I love both of them,” she added.
