Star Plus is all set to present a fresh and emotionally layered love story with Yeh Fitoor Tera, starring Debchandrima Singha Roy as Soumya and Ishaan Dhawan as Jeet. The show brings together two individuals from vastly different worlds, each carrying their own fears, vulnerabilities, and emotional baggage.
Soumya is a young woman whose life has been shaped by hesitation, caution, and experiences she has never fully left behind. Reserved by nature, she finds it difficult to trust people, especially men, a fear that becomes even more pronounced as she steps into the unfamiliar world of a co-ed college, a reality many young women can relate to. Jeet, in contrast, is confident, outspoken, and commands attention wherever he goes. To the world, Jeet appears to be an untouchable alpha, fearless, charismatic, and larger than life. Yet, despite being everything Soumya would ordinarily shy away from, he becomes the one person around whom she feels comfortable enough to let her guard down, simply because he creates a space where she feels safe and understood.
Sharing her excitement about the show, Debchandrima Singha Roy said,”I connect deeply with Soumya’s journey because I come from a small town myself. Speaking about his character, Ishaan Dhawan shared, “What drew me to this story was the emotional depth of the characters and the relationship they share. Jeet is someone the world perceives as fearless, confident, and larger than life. He has a strong presence and isn’t someone who gets easily affected by situations around him. But every person has layers, and that’s what makes him interesting. The journey of these characters and the way their worlds intersect is what makes this story truly special.”
