Dev Joshi, a popular television actor, began his acting career in 2006 as a kid actor before landing the lead part in the acclaimed fantasy series Baal Veer on SAB TV. After being taken off the air in 2016, the program returned as Baal Veer Returns in 2019. Dev’s portrayal of a superhero once again grabbed hearts.

Since the show’s 2021 finale, the actor hasn’t been on television, but during the past 18 months, he’s been working on achieving unthinkable heights.

Dev is about to embark on his mission to the moon, realizing his long-held desire. The actor is one of 10 famous people from around the world who have been chosen for the first all-civilian moon journey as part of the initiative “dearMoon,” funded by Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa.

It has been designed for use on the Elon Musk-owned Starship and Super Heavy Rocket (formerly known as BFR), which SpaceX runs.

Dev shared a post with the caption on it.

Dev posted a lengthy message on social media explaining the surprise to his supporters and expressing his pride at being able to represent India in the fields of space and art.

On Instagram, he wrote, “This is a Dream come true! Proud to be the Crew Member for @dearmoonproject by @yusaku2020 & @spacex , I can’t express myself in words, but the feeling is beyond anything…..
