Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah the popular Sony SAB show produced by Neela Telefilms is one of the popular TV shows. One of the popular the character of the show is Patrakar Popatlal Pandey who is a senior crime reporter in Toofan Express and his role is being played by the actor Shyam Pathak.
Shyam has earlier worked in few serials such as Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi ki Joint Family, Sukh by Chance, etc. before he got the chance to work in TMKOC but did you know he has played a role in a Chinese movie?
As per reports in RVCJ, Shyam shared a video clip on Instagram in which he is seen with one of the most renowned actors, Anupam Kher. The clip was from the Chinese movie “Lust, Caution” which released in 2007 and it was based on the novel of Eileen Chang.
The film depicted the story of a beautiful young Chinese girl who was on the mission to take the life of a Japanese politician but ended up falling in love with him. Shyam played the character of a jewelry shopkeeper in the movie.
