If you are someone who’s followed Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah show right from the very beginning, you will well be aware of the fact that Disha Vakani aka Dayaben, Neha Mehta aka Anjali Bhabhi and Bhavya Gandhi aka Tapu are three of the most important characters of the show.
So what exactly was the reason behind them quitting?
While reports in TOI state that Disha Vakani has been away from the show due to her maternity leave, reports in India Today suggest that Neha Mehta quit the show because she wanted to explore new characters and try something different. As far as Bhavya is concerned, reports in Hindustan Times said that Bhavya Gandhi felt static as an actor as there was apparently no ‘growth’ in his character which is why he wanted to try something else.
