Daastan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali had a lot of buzz surrounding it before it premiered in October last year. The retelling of the epic love story featuring the formidable pairing of Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria upped the excitement level of the viewers further.
Yet it failed to click with the audiences due to the lack of gripping storyline.
In Daastan-E-Mohabbat, Shaheer was seen as young and angry Shehdaza who by default gets fumed up the moment he sees his father. Shaheer’s brown orbs and tight jaws did the job for you. His character was loved by the audience and even he got attached to Salim.
