Actress Tapasya Nayak who recently joined the cast of Colors’ Molkki has had a good run in the TV industry.
Tapasya who has been part of successful shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Chidiya Ghar, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat is a bit livid at her real identity being mispresented.
Many around her believe that her full name is Tapasya Nayak Srivastava, and her general profile that appears also mentions her surname to be Srivastava.
Says Tapasya, “I want to say that my full name is Tapasya Nayak. This is my legal identity, and have no other surname attached to my name. I really do not know how this mistaken identity started. But I want people in the industry to know the truth.”
As far as work is concerned, Tapasya is on the lookout for challenging roles. “I will love to be part of the web medium. A lot of exciting concepts are coming up there and I will want to be part of the medium.”
“Also films excite me and I am surely going to try my luck. As of now, I am in my hometown having a good time with my family.”
