This show is about an ambitious girl, Anjali Awasthi, who navigates the struggles to pave her way to becoming a lawyer. The unique storyline and amazing character of Anjali, portrayed by Bengali actress Shritama Mitra, won hearts from the show’s opening week, securing a TVR of 2.2 in its first week.
Produced by Blues Production, Advocate Anjali Awasthi has been in the top five race since the beginning. The show didn’t witness a dip lesser than 2.0 TVR for almost six months. However, in February 2025, viewership began to decrease, with a TVR of 1.8. However, the show still managed to remain in the top five and gave tough competition to the top rankers, including Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupamaa, Udne Ki Aasha, and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
Even Advocate Anjali Awasthi maintained secure good ratings with TVRs of 1.4 and 1.5 in recent weeks. This week, the show secured a TVR of 1.4, and the numbers have been constant for the last month. So far, the show hadn’t reached its lowest point, and it was a big opportunity to re-enter the top five race, but it turned out to be a sad ending.
Now, suddenly, the makers are axing the show despite the good performance, which has come as disheartening news for the fans. This is because the storyline of the show was something different, which turned out to be a break from regular drama, while the lead actors, Shritama Mitra and Ankit Raizada, showcased their acting skills, winning hearts. Undoubtedly, fans and viewers will miss this show.
As per the reports, Advocate Anjali Awasthi is likely to go off-air in the month of August before completing one year.
