Vasudha, the Zee TV show produced by Arvind Babbal Productions, has seen engaging drama with Prabhat (Sachin Parikh) suffering a heart attack and needing an immediate bypass surgery. We wrote about him putting the condition to see Dev (Abhishek Sharrma) and Vasudha (Priya Thakur) before his surgery. Chandrika went to Dev’s place to seek his help and begged Vasudha to allow her son to meet his father. Vasudha felt uneasy as she could not bear her Devi Hukum beg before her. When Dev and Vasudha came to meet Prabhat, he sought the promise from them that they would return home.

We wrote about Guruji telling Chandrika to perform a tough penance in the temple, where she had to go around the temple on her knees and climb the stairs of the temple with the diya lit on her hand. The daughter-in-law of the house was given the task of collecting biksha from houses and cooking prasad out of it and completing the penance.

The upcoming episode will see the ordeals of Chandrika as she will do the penance. Vasudha, who will take the responsibility as the daughter-in-law of the house, will be seen seeking rice going door to door, and cooking the prasad in the temple. As the final leg of the penance, Vasudha will bring the cooked prasad to the temple. Chandrika will offer it to the God and will be seen feeding Vasudha. Vasudha will feed the prasad to Chandrika. It will be interesting to see if Chandrika will now accept Vasudha.

Will Chandrika and Vasudha’s penance yield results? Will Prabhat recover?

Vasudha is a compelling story that delves into the fascinating dynamics between two women from entirely different worlds – whose paths cross, leading to a clash of ideologies, temperaments and socioeconomic backgrounds, promising a narrative unlike any other on Indian television. Chandrika Singh Chauhan’s character is played by Nausheen Ali Sardar while Priya Thakur is seen in the titular role of Vasudha. Abhishek Sharma plays the lead Devansh Singh Chauhan. However, presently, Nausheen has been replaced by Parineeta Borthakur. The show is produced by Arvind Babbal Productions.
