In the upcoming episode, Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) and Jaspreet worry; meanwhile, men from the neighbourhood come to confront Anupama for instigating their wives to leave the household for their dreams. Anupama tells all the men that it will be a proud moment for them, but they all deny and ask Anupama to leave them. On the other hand, Rahi (Adrija Roy) is worried as she has only two students and the dance competition is nearing. Both Anupama and Rahi are caught in the same situation – will this competition change their fate?
Anupamaa Today’s Written Update Episode 1697
Today’s episode begins with Rahi thanking God for the two admissions and hoping for the best. Rahi also prays to God and wants to win the competition to surpass Anupama and change her identity. Anupama comes to Manohar Pandit, asking him to continue teaching dance, but he appears firm in his decision. Then Anupama reveals the reason behind her determination not to let Manohar squander his talent. After trying a lot, Manohar agrees.
Mahi tries to prove Rahi wrong and also demeans Anupama and the Shah family. Rahj confronts Mahi and gives her a reality check. Savitri and other ladies from the neighbourhood cheer up Bharti while they also laugh at Anupama’s courage to participate in the dance competition. All the ladies deny this, which leaves Anupama and Jaspreet upset, but they appear confident about taking action. On the other hand, Kinjal arrives at the Kothari house, exposing the audit scandal. Gautam becomes worried and decides to take action, while Parag decides to take control of everything.
Later, Sumit comes to meet Bharti. Jaspreet confronts him, and Sumit reveals that he cannot marry Bharti as he had wanted to marry so that someone could take care of his parents. However, Bharti herself now needs care, which he cannot afford. Anupama bashes Sumit and asks him to go away. Anupama and Jaspreet encourage Bharti in the emotional moment.
