The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya recalling all that Vanraj said and breaks a dancing globe out of anger. Nandini tells Samar that they should cancel the engagement as everyone is in pain. Samar says that this engagement is mummy’s happiness. Nandini says that what is the use of happiness that only hides tears. Baa confronts God saying why is he not stopping her Bahu and son from breaking up. Kinjal comforts Baa saying whatever is happening is God’s will. Samar tells Nandini that Mr Shah for the first time has started thinking about Anupamaa. Nandini says that he should support Anupamaa with her decision. Samar thanks her for showing him a path.
Pakhi is frustrated. Baa consoles Pakhi, Pakhi tells her that even after trying so much they didn’t succeed. Baa says she has called Nani with the last hope of convincing Anupamaa. Anupamaa comes in and massages Baa’s hand. Vanraj comes in as well. They all rush towards Kavya’s room when they hear Nandini scream. Kavya has fallen unconscious by overdosing on a sleeping pill. Vanraj shakes her and tries to wake her up. Anupamaa warms her hand and legs. Baa tells Nandini to get saltwater. Anupamaa makes Kavya drink salt water. Samar tells Advait that Kavya tried committing suicide. Advait rushes and asks what she had. Vanraj says sleeping pills. Advait checks her pulse and says she is alive and needs urgent treatment. Toshu comes in and asks why Kavya attempted suicide. Anupamaa says because she doesn’t have a family to support her. Nandini blames herself for Kavya’s condition. Samar tells her not to blame herself. He consoles her saying Kavya will be alright.
Anupamaa confronts Vanraj asking what he told Kavya that made her take such an extreme step. Vanraj puts his head down in guilt. Anupamaa says that a man always breaks women’s trust and heart. She asks him if he is breaking the promise that he made to Kavya. She says now she has another reason to divorce him and that is to give justice to Kavya. Samar calls them, they all rush to the room. Advait says that Kavya is awake now. Vanraj goes to meet her, she yells at him saying she doesn’t want to see him. Anupamaa goes to meet Kavya. Anupamaa slaps Kavya which shocks all the family members. Anupamaa tells Kavya that she had told her that she will slap her every time she makes a mistake. This is her biggest mistake. Kavya hugs her and starts crying. Dolly tells Baa how can Anupamaa be so concerned about her sautan. She says she sometimes can’t understand Anupamaa. Baa says as a Saas she can’t understand her but from a women’s perspective, she can. Anupamaa scolds Kavya saying that she should learn the value of human life from a dying person or from her. She says everyone has pain in their life but love is not about sacrificing their life but getting up after falling down.
