In today’s episode (15 August 2025) of Kumkum Bhagya, Shivansh informs Bua Maa that Tanya has left for the wedding. Bua Maa decides to leave too and asks Shivansh to bring Prarthna along. He apologizes, explaining that he has some important work to do. When she inquires, he promises to share the details later before she departs.
Shivansh then sees Prarthna, who offers him tea. He tells her that their relationship isn’t strong and that he understands her silence. She suggests helping him find formal clothes and picks out a suit for him. He encourages her to compliment him, asking if she doesn’t think he’s handsome, which makes her burst into laughter. He asks her to stop, but she continues to giggle. As he holds her close, they share a moment together.
Shivansh expresses doubt that Prarthna understands him, claiming she can’t imagine what he is thinking. He warns her not to assume he’s contemplating their closeness. Just then, Gayatri walks in and catches them in a compromising position, prompting them to quickly separate. Gayatri, curious about their dynamics, playfully teases Prarthna about Shivansh, to which Prarthna blushes and asks her to stop.
Gayatri presses Prarthna about why she seemed disturbed the previous night. Prarthna reveals that Shivansh loves Bua Maa deeply, but that Bua Maa and Smita harbor mutual hatred. Bua Maa fuels Shivansh’s dislike for Smita, and Prarthna believes this is wrong. Gayatri agrees they need to understand the roots of this conflict in order to resolve it and asks Prarthna for more details.
Meanwhile, at the wedding, Smita and Bua Maa clash, trading insults. Bua Maa flaunts an expensive diamond bracelet meant for the bride, questioning what gift Smita has brought. Feeling slighted, Smita retreats to confide in Shubhvi that she doesn’t want to reveal her less extravagant gift. She decides to return home for a diamond necklace to counter Bua Maa’s taunts.
Gayatri urges Prarthna not to conceal anything from her. Prarthna insists that she cannot reveal Shivansh’s secret. She expresses her commitment to fulfill her duty while protecting Shivansh. Gayatri commends her for her loyalty but is concerned about the ongoing feud.
Later, Prarthna arrives at Zaveri mansion to meet Smita, who dismisses her. Prarthna pleads for Smita to listen, acknowledging their conflict. Despite Smita’s disdain, Prarthna urges her to help mend Shivansh’s relationship with Raunak. However, Smita rebuffs her, insisting she has no interest in the matter.
Raunak, meanwhile, confides in Mayank about his plan to corner Shivansh at Zaveri House. He instructs bodyguard Shakti to set the house ablaze and frame Shivansh for arson, plotting to see him arrested. Raunak hopes that this scheme will free Prarthna from her marriage and allow him to begin a new life with her. Payal disapproves of Raunak’s intentions.
At the wedding, Raunak intervenes when a man misbehaves with Tanya, defending her. He reassures her that he would have acted equally for any girl, reaffirming that his only objective is to confront Shivansh. Tanya finds herself questioning Raunak’s character.
As tensions rise, Smita continues to reject Prarthna, expressing her hatred for her. Prarthna counters that while some people may have egos, they should set them aside for their loved ones. Smita, firm in her stance, emphasizes that she must return to the wedding to confront Bua Maa’s taunts. Prarthna tries to persuade her to consider the consequences of Bua Maa and Shivansh’s animosity, asserting that Smita has the power to affect change.
Smita reluctantly acknowledges her strength but insists she has chosen to spare the Randhawas. Prarthna, recognizing Shivansh’s anger towards Smita, hints at their shared past and reminds her that Bua Maa’s hatred stems from this connection. Smita, frustrated, orders Prarthna to be quiet.
