In 5th August 2025 Written Update of Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi produced by Panorama Entertainment, kicks off with Adit informing Monisha about Kapil and Mangal’s upcoming wedding. Adit extends a polite invitation for lunch, but tension simmers beneath her friendly demeanor. Monisha agrees to stay, sitting across the table from Kapil, the man who once broke her heart and is now engaged to someone else.
Mangal brims with love and excitement as she eagerly serves her favorite home-cooked dishes to Kapil. However, Adit keenly observes the thickening tension between Kapil and Monisha, and it does not escape his notice.
To lighten the atmosphere, Kusum suggests that Mangal should start her wedding shopping soon. This comment hits Monisha hard, visibly rattling her. Kapil’s anxiety escalates, fearing that Mangal might discover his past with Monisha before he gets a chance to explain.
Adit seizes the moment with his trademark passive-aggressive maneuver. He intentionally spills curry on Monisha’s outfit, prompting her to leave for a quick clean-up. Kapil rushes after her, feigning an excuse, while Adit silently trails behind them.
Once behind closed doors, Kapil confronts Monisha and demands answers about her presence at Mangal’s house. Monisha insists it’s purely a coincidence—she suffered an injury and came for treatment. Kapil remains skeptical and accuses her of deliberately invading his life. The confrontation escalates as Monisha tearfully admits her lingering love for him and her regrets about their breakup. She claims she isn’t there to ruin anything but simply cannot control her feelings.
Meanwhile, Adit lurks in the shadows, recording the entire conversation. Feeling triumphant, he quietly slips away with what he believes is incriminating evidence.
Back at the dining table, Mangal serves her lovingly prepared gulab jamuns to everyone. Monisha compliments Mangal’s cooking a little too sweetly, and Mangal expresses gratitude. When it’s Kapil’s turn to eat, he suddenly excuses himself, citing urgent work. Adit calls him rude, but Mangal, still smitten, defends him without hesitation.
Later, Adit decides to unveil his “bombshell” to Mangal. However, instead of piquing her interest, she lashes out, blaming him for inviting Monisha. Mangal’s instincts tell her that Monisha doesn’t belong there, and she cautions Adit not to trust strangers easily.
Still insistent on protecting Mangal, Adit shows her the recording. As Mangal is about to view it, Kapil calls her away, ready to confess his feelings. Just as he prepares to speak the truth, Pratima interrupts and shuts him down, claiming it’s not the right time. Although Kapil protests, wanting to be honest, Pratima promises to handle the situation and urges him to trust her.
In a cruel twist, Adit discovers that the video has mysteriously vanished from his phone. Confused, he faces Mangal’s sharp glare as she questions him about recording Kapil in the first place. Adit stutters in response, equally baffled. Mangal isn’t convinced, accusing him of projecting his past mistakes onto Kapil. She firmly states that Kapil is not like him and walks away.
Meanwhile, Pratima reassures Kapil to wait for the right moment, promising she’ll manage everything. She now insists that Kapil and Mangal should marry as soon as possible to secure their relationship before any more truths surface.
