Mangal Lakshmi, the Colors TV show produced by Panorama Entertainment, the written update of episode 8th August 2025 begins with Kapil and Mangal finishing their pooja and leaving. Monisha watches them with anger and decides to plot something new to separate them. Akshat bonds well with Kapil, while Shanti tells Mangal that she did well by agreeing to marry Kapil. Mangal asks Pratima if the pooja has completed, to which Pratima confirms. Mangal then mentions she’s heading to the office for the scheduled interviews for the sales head position, and Pratima agrees.
At the office, Sunitha informs Mangal that the candidates for the interview have arrived. Mangal instructs her to send them in one by one and starts the interviews. To her surprise, Monisha enters as a candidate. Mangal questions her presence, and Monisha claims it’s just a coincidence, apologizing if she makes Mangal uncomfortable. Mangal assures her that she isn’t uncomfortable but warns Monisha it would be wrong if she came intentionally. She gives Monisha twenty minutes for the interview.
Sunitha and another employee interrupt to inform Mangal that their work is done, and they need to rush to the factory. During the interview, Monisha shares that her former lover abused her and expresses her desire to move on from her painful past. Sunitha and the other lady become emotional and urge Mangal to hire Monisha. However, Monisha insists she should be appointed based on merit. After sending Sunitha and the other worker to the factory, Monisha tries to convince Mangal to hire her through emotional appeals.
Kapil contemplates discussing his past with Mangal once the interview session ends. Mangal feels Monisha is suitable for the job but senses something off about her. She tells Monisha she is hiring her, and Monisha thanks her; however, once Mangal leaves, Monisha smirks.
Kapil enters Mangal’s cabin and is shocked to find Monisha there. He questions her presence and warns her to stay away, declaring he will never give her another chance in his life. Monisha responds that she is there only for work and asks him to understand. Unmoved, Kapil tells her to find a job elsewhere and shouts at her. At that moment, Mangal arrives, notices Kapil, and remarks, “You’re here?” She explains that she wanted to inform him that she has chosen Monisha as the Sales Head. Kapil is stunned by this news. Monisha extends her hand to greet him, but Kapil asks Mangal for a private conversation. Mangal asks Monisha to leave.
Meanwhile, Adit wonders what Monisha did to Kapil since he clearly feels uncomfortable around her. He decides to gather proof of their past, knowing that Mangal won’t believe him otherwise. Akshat arrives, eager to show Adit Mangal and Kapil’s wedding card, but Adit stops him. He sends Akshat inside and burns the card, vowing to expose Kapil’s true face before the wedding date so that Mangal will back out of the marriage.
In their conversation, Kapil tells Mangal they can hire a Sales Head after three months. Mangal insists they need one now and emphasizes that Monisha needs help to stand on her feet, which justifies hiring her. She directly asks Kapil if he has any other problem with this decision. Kapil is about to reveal the truth when his mother calls. Remembering her warning that Mangal wouldn’t believe him even if she knew the past, Kapil concedes to Mangal’s decision and leaves.
Monisha thinks to herself, “You can’t leave me, Kapil Ji. I will break your marriage with Mangal, and I will not let you marry anyone else.”
