The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Bhide asking Popatlal why he was dancing when he did not get married. Popatlal says that he is getting 2nd International award and he thought Gokuldham got the news of his 2nd award and they all are dancing because they are happy for Popatlal, so even Popatlal joined them.
Everyone congratulates Popatlal for the 2nd award.
Then, Komal asks Sridevi that they all misunderstood that Sridevi is Popatlal’s wife and so they all were welcoming her, but Sridevi knew everything then why she did not stop anyone.
Sridevi says that they are Iyer’s cousin so she got confused and thought that Iyer must have informed everyone about their arrival and so everyone is welcoming her.
Everyone apologises to Sridevi, Venu and their family for such a big misunderstanding. After some time, Iyer asks Venu and his family to come to Iyer’s house. Popatlal says that Venu’s all bags are at his house and Iyer to take it from Popatlal’s house.
Popatlal leaves for his award function, and Iyer takes Venu and his family with him to his house.
Later, Taarak gets ready for his office and says that he escaped as his boss was not there but now if his boss has arrived, then he will scold Taarak.
Taarak and Anjali pray that their 1st day of the year starts will lots of drama and the rest of the year go in peace.
Meanwhile, Iyer welcomes Venu and his family into his house. Venu’s parents say that they were worried as Gokuldham members were forcing Sridevi and Popatlal to wear garlands for each other.
Iyer says that Gokuldham members are very sweet they misunderstood the situation, so this all occurred.
