Tejo returns home and searches for Riya. Riya explains that it was Angad’s joke and that he had sent a buddy to pick her up and then leave her off at her house. Tejo doesn’t believe it because she told Angad about Riya and he went looking for her. Jasmine had her doll, according to Riya, therefore she believed her. Riya has returned home, Tejo informs him. Angad arrives home and embraces Riya.

He sends Riya aside to have a private conversation with Tejo. She informs Tejo of her major blunder in losing Riya. Angad vents his rage on Tejo, who was reckless and had lost Riya. If Riya’s Nani learns of this, he says she will come with court orders and take Riya away. Tejo inquires as to why she would remove Riya from her uncle.

He puts the burden on himself and tells Tejo that he has no right to be with Riya. He tells her that he dies with remorse every day since he orphaned Riya by being the cause of her parents’ deaths in an accident that might have been averted if he had had the car examined before they left on their vacation. He sobs and tells Tejo that they were his world and that he was truly delighted to live with them, but that he now feels horrible that Riya would one day discover the reality that he is their killer and will abandon him far away. He bemoans the fact that Riya’s Nani will instil the unpleasant reality in her head and then kidnap Riya from him. He goes on to say that he can’t live without Riya and that the notion of losing her shakes his spirit.

Angad storms out, while Tejo is troubled by the girl who kidnapped Riya and then abandoned her at her house. When Jasmin sees Angad fleeing in rage, she believes her strategy has worked. She intends to take the next step now and kidnap Riya from Angad, putting the blame on Tejo. Tejo inquires about Jasmine with Babli. She discovers that Jasmin had returned home and deceived Babli. She is oblivious to the fact that it was Jasmin who planned this to destabilize her tranquillity. Tejo decides to investigate the situation further.
