Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH), produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions, entertains the audience with major dramas and nail-biting twists. Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit play the lead roles.

Today’s episode begins with Armaan (Rohit Purohit) showing Meher the ring for her engagement, and as he calls the groom, it turns out he isn’t marrying Meher; he’s come as a friend to her engagement. Meher exchanges rings with the groom while Maira tells Armaan to shake their legs on the dance floor. Armaan and Maira light up the event with their dance, while Maira’s dupatta gets stuck to a waiter’s batch, and she screams. As Armaan notices it looks like the waiter is trying to harass her, but Maira tells her the truth, and Armaan apologizes to him.

However, Meher overreacts and demeans the waiter, but Armaan apologizes, saying Maira should have been more careful. Meher raises questions on fatherhood, but he tells her that he doesn’t want to know how he is as a father from others. Maira apologises to the waiter while Vidya praises Maira, crediting Armaan for her upbringing, but Tanya raises her voice, taking a stand for Abhira (Samridhii Shukla), saying that in a child’s upbringing, a mother is equally responsible, and Maira is a shadow of her mother.

As Maira hears Abhira’s name, past memories shatter her emotionally, and she runs away. Armaan gets angry but runs behind Maira. On the other hand, Abhira comes to the temple praying to the Lord. Her owner tells her to pray for her daughter’s happiness, and she ties a chunni to the tree. Abhira ties two chunni and prays for both of her daughters, Maira and Vani (now Mukti).

At the same time, Armaan consoles Maira, who expresses her hatred and how bad she feels remembering Abhira. Armaan calms Maira and confronts Tanya, who stands her ground for Abhira. But Kajal stops her while Vidya calls Armaan, as Meher locks herself in. Armaan comes and talks to Meher, who expresses her disinterest in her fiancé and cancles the engagement. Armaan announces her decision, and Meher follows Armaan’s orders, leaving everyone shocked.
