Today’s episode 1949 begins with Maira getting ready for Holi, and as she asks Mukti to get ready as she is dropping her off at her house, Mukti refuses, highlighting that her mother doesn’t play Holi but stays upset every year. Maira then tells Mukti to join her at her aunt’s Holi celebration. Mukti agrees, while Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) fumes in anger and tells her neighbours to join her as they will break into Meher’s Holi celebration, as she has stopped the water in their area.

At the same time, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and his family join Meher’s Holi celebration while Meher goes to apply color to Armaan, but he stops her, telling her Maira has the first right. Meher also asks his employee if his work has been done to ban water in Abhira’s area, and he says, while she also tells him to hide this from Armaan. Soon, Abhira crashes into Meher’s Holi bash, leaving everyone shocked.

Abhira calls out Meher for stopping the water in her area, and Armaan asks Meher if it’s true, but she lies. Abhira makes it clear to Armaan that she doesn’t trust him. Abhira and her neighbours spoil the party with their way of celebrating Holi. Meher stops the music and threatens Abhira, but she doesn’t walk back. Vidya takes Meher with her.

At the same time, Armaan asks her if she is satisfied with ruining Meher’s Holi bash, but Abhira confronts Armaan too for his mistakes and playing the victim card. Meanwhile, a block was about to fall on Abhira, but Armaan saved her and brought him and Abhira close. Meanwhile, Maira and Mukti arrive.

Armaan hugs Abhira as her clothes get torn, and Manisha takes her into the room. However, before Maira could see Abhira leave. And Vidya warns Armaan, telling him to send Abhira from her soon, as Maira is about to come. Meanwhile, Manisha taunts Abhira, which hurts her.
