The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat arguing with Kartik and his family. The reporter comments that this girl is so ungrateful, the family has done so much for her but she is yelling at them. Chauhan watching the news says people have now seen her real face. Suwarna tells Sirat to leave the house. Sirat leaves saying Manish can be happy now. The manager tells Sirat that she had told him she will clear her name before the match. Sirat says she is not proved as a culprit, so she should be allowed to play. The manager says he saw her misbehaviour on the news. He says until she gets proof of her innocence she can’t play the match. Chauhan sees Kartik coming and tells him to leave. Kartik says he needs help from him to take revenge on Sirat. He says they always supported her but she insulted his father and he is in the hospital in a critical stage.
Chauhan says Ranvir was in a critical stage and Kartik supported Sirat. Kartik apologises, Chauhan says Manish didn’t do business with him, so he won’t help them now. Kartik begs him to help him clear his name from the case. He says he is ready to give a statement against Sirat about how she robs rich guys and kills them. Chauhan asks how he started hating her suddenly. Kartik says the closer the relation the deeper wound it gives. He thought Sirat will be a good mother to his children but she doesn’t deserve it. She cheated on a good-hearted husband like Ranvir.
Chauhan says he explained Ranvir several times but he didn’t listen instead went behind Sirat. Kartik says he was in the same condition but now has understood her real face. Chauhan throws a vase and says Ranvir was going to marry Sirat. He says he had planned to get Sirat shot but Ranvir was the one who got hit by a bullet. He says he lost his son because of Sirat. She cheated and hurt him so he framed her in this as a punishment. Chauhan tells Kartik he supported Sirat, so he will be punished too. Kartik says no, he is the one who will be punished. Kartik calls the police who informs him that they have heard the statement and recorded it. Kartik tells Chauhan that they planned this thing to make him confess.
Sirat is at the club, the man asks her to leave as this is the last trial match. Kartik comes and informs that Sirat has been proved innocent and the real culprit is found. Sirat becomes happy, Kartik tells Sirat to knock out her opponents. The man says it’s too late and Sirat can’t be a part of nationals now. Sirat asks why as the trials are going on and the main match is yet to start. The man says it’s the rule that Sirat has to qualify for the trial match before playing the main match. He tells Sirat to come next year. Kartik goes to leave with Sirat but she is not there. Sirat is in the ring, the man tells her she can’t play the match. She says she has decided to play the match.
