The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Gayu saying that she will be leaving the house as she doesn’t want any discrimination with their kids which happened with them. Surekha says that Gayu made the right decision, she can stay away and be happy.
Gayu says that she is leaving the house today and will always regret that her family did not accept them. Gayu is about to leave. Everyone tries to stop her. Then Kartik asks her to stop. He goes to Gayu and says that she cannot leave the house as Vansh needs his family. Gayu says that she cannot stay with Kartik and Naira in one house. Whenever she sees Kairav, she will realise that Vansh is not able to walk.
Kartik says that if Gayu has a problem with Kartik and Naira then they will leave the house. Kartik says that Gayu can stay in the house, and they will leave. And then no one can do injustice with Gayu and her family.
Suwarna says that no one is leaving. Kartik replies that there is no other way. Suwarna asks Naira to explain to Kartik that he should not take any decision in hurry. Naira replies that because of Kartik she got these families. So she will go wherever Kartik will go.
Manish is upset seeing his family getting shattered. Everyone goes to their room. Manish goes into the garden and cries. He is upset that his family got shattered and he could not do anything.
Kartik comes and lies on his lap. Manish asks Kartik not to leave him as Kartik was away from them for years. Kartik apologizes to Manish and says that he does not have any other way.
