The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Naira saying that she wants to go seeing Kartik’s happy face. Naira asks Kartik to smile and say goodbye.
At home, everyone is worried as they could not find Kartik. Kartik returns home. Kartik sees Akshara crying and holds her. Kairav and Krishna also hug Kartik. Kartik says that he is back.
Kartik keeps all of Naira’s belongings in a box and locks the box.
After a few months, Kartik is busy playing with Akshara. Krish and Vansh come there and say that they will fly kite. Kartik asks them where is Kairav. Vansh says that Kairav is in the washroom.
Manish comes there and says that he will play with Akshara. Kartik says that he will play with Akshara and no one will get the chance to take her. Manish says that today anyhow he will take Akshara from Kartik.
Luv and Kush come there and say that they will also fly kite with Vansh and Krish. Luv asks where is Kairav. Kartik says that Kairav is in the washroom. Luv says that Kairav is not in the washroom.
Kartik worries and goes to find Kairav.
Kairav sneezes. Kartik comes to him and asks what happened. Kairav says that he is alright and got a sneeze due to dust.
Later, everyone flies the kites. Kairav misses Naira, he writes a note on a kite and says that Naira is in the sky and Naira will get his note through the kite.
Kairav flies the kite and finds it difficult to hold it in the air. He asks Kartik to help him. Kartik asks Kairav not to worry as he will take care of Kairav’s kite.
Kartik says that Kairav wrote a message from his heart and he will never let the kite fall.
