The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Ranvir seeing the ring. Chandan asks whose ring it can be. Ranvir says it’s Kartik Goenka’s ring. His son was showing him the engagement ring and it must have fallen in his medicine packet. Ranvir calls Kartik. Kartik and his family are busy trying to find the ring. Surekha says someone can give their ring to Sirat and complete the ritual. Suwarna says they cannot take a used ring for an engagement ceremony. Sirat says Kartik can use a bottle cap or some other round thing. Suwarna says they have already informed the jeweller and soon he will get a new ring.
Ranvir says he needs to return the rings. Chandan says that they are getting late for their flight. Ranvir says he messed up while his marriage, but will not let anyone’s engagement get ruin due to him. Ranvir leaves and reaches the hotel. He asks the receptionist about Kartik. The receptionist says Kartik is in the banquet hall.
Sirat comes out and worries. Kartik comes and asks her if she is still stuck on her past. Sirat says whatever is happening is making her recollect her past. Kartik asks her to learn a lesson from her past and enjoy her present life.
Later, Ranvir comes to Kartik and gives him the ring wrapped in a note. Ranvir says he found the ring in his medicine packet. Kartik thanks Ranvir and asks him to join. Ranvir says he has a flight to catch and is in hurry.
Ranvir sees Nani going to her room. Ranvir follows her. Ranvir sneaks into Nani’s room after she leaves. Ranvir sees Sirat’s jacket and her gloves.
Meanwhile, Kartik informs everyone that the rings went into his friend’s medicine packet. Rhea feels bad she thinks of returning home as she will never get Kartik in her life.
Ranvir calls Chandan and says he found Sirat. Rhea hears him and confronts him. Rhea asks him if he is Ranvir, Sirat’s ex-fiance. Rhea says Sirat still loves him and was waiting for him, but Nani forced her to get engaged to a rice man. Rhea asks Ranvir to stop Sirat’s engagement.
On the other hand, Sirat sees the note in which Ranvir bought the ring and realises that it’s Ranvir’s handwriting. Sirat then says she doesn’t have to look back, as she is starting a new life.
