He was born in Muzaffarnagar and his dreams were not affordable by his parents. While working as a chemist in a petrochemical firm, he realised that life was not for him. So he moved to Delhi and worked as a watchman at various places. In his free time, he frequently visited the theatres there, growing a keen interest in acting. He then joined National school of drama and graduated in 1996. After going to Mumbai, he did some very insignificant roles till he finally got his big break in “Black Friday”, directed by Anurag Kashyap in 2007. Since then his career graph has been climbing and he has earned himself millions of viewers by now.
