Pratik Gandhi has been very notable in terms of his acting. He ventured out as a theater actor and been part of several plays on stage. From appearing in several Bollywood projects and Dhollywood films, the actor has always said that his first love shall always be “Theater”

In an interview with Times Of India, he said, “There are so many incidents and picking just one fondest memory will be very difficult. But this one time when I was performing Mohan’s Masala for a few inmates of Sabarmati jail, I wasn’t sure if they would enjoy watching a play on Mahatma Gandhi. They were a jittery lot. But when the jailor intervened, they all settled down. Towards the end, one of the inmates came sobbing and told me how moved he was after watching the play particularly the scene where Mohan’s (my character) mother was also involved.”

He added further, “Another incident was when I had just started doing theater and was doing a play with Apara Mehta in Kolkatta. Being a naïve artist, I forgot to take a prop on stage and had to improvise. Apara (Mehta) too joined along and it all went smooth.”
