Saurabh Shukla was born on the 5th of March in the year 1963 and is a well known name in the acting world. The actor was born in the state of Uttar Pradesh in Gorakhpur. While most of us are very quick to assume that Saurabh is famous exclusively in the movie world, a lesser known fact is that the actor started his acting career from the theatre world. He joined theatre when he discovered his interest in the field and today he stands as a famous persona in the field. He is not only an actor in the movie and theatre world but also a great director, screen writer and a television actor. Most of us recognize him from movies like PK, Jolly LLB 2 and not to forget Barfi! He has also made some great achievements in the fields by being the winner of awards like the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in the year 2014 and several others.

His expertise in the field shows very prominently through his acting skills and dialogue delivery not only on screen but also on stage. He began his journey in acting through the theatre world in the year 1986 through plays like A View From The Bridge and Ghashiram Kotwal. But what really acted as his big break was after joining The NSD Repertoire in 1991 when he got a brief role in Bandit Queen which was created by Shekhar Kapur.
