Actress Simran Kaur Mundi received love and appreciation for her role in the web series Broken But Beautiful for ALTBalaji. Recently, the actress became the first Indian actress to be the world presenter for NBA India games.
Talking about the experience, she says, “It was an amazing moment. This was my first experience watching an NBA game in an arena, and what better place than my own hometown, Mumbai. To top that, getting an opportunity to host it took me to the moon.”
She continues, “I have always been a basketball player. I feel extremely proud with the way basketball is shaping up in India. And with the NBA coming in, it’s taking the sport to the next level. You should have been there in the arena to see basketball fans cheering for their favorite team. It was a truly ecstatic experience.”
Ask about the best moment from the event, she adds, “Larry Bird is a legend! I have been a fan of him since forever. When his name was announced in the arena, fans gave him a standing ovation and started cheering for him. I still get goosebumps thinking of that moment. It was so overwhelming.”
On the other hand, Simran is prepping for her upcoming web series. “We have completed the shoot of Virkar Vs The Anti Social Network. It was a fun team to work with and Prateik is an amazing co-actor. I cannot wait for the release of the series.”
She ends, “I am what I am today for all the love I receive from fans. Thank you for your love and support. I hope I keep living up to fans’ expectations and continue doing good work.”
