Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa, the Rajat Kapoor-written and directed film, has a powerful starcast including Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Rajat Kapoor, Koel Purie, Sadiya Siddiqui, Neil Bhoopalam, and Palomi Ghosh. The film opens on a light hearted note with the 10th anniversary party of Raman played by Neil Bhoopalam and Jayanthi played by Palomi Ghosh where group of friends gather with their spouses join in including characters Madhavan played by Ranvir Shorey, wugh girlfriend Nazia played by Kankana Chakraborty, Chandra played by Rajat Kapoor, Kumar played by Danish Hussain and his wife Naina played by Waluscha De Sousa, Sandeep palyed by Sharat Katariya and his wife Suman played Sadiya Siddiqui which turns into a nightmare with one of them getting murdered by the one among them.

As soon as Jayanthi finds Sohrab Handa dead, this follows a major twist with Saurabh Shukla as the inspector entering to investigate the matter to find the real culprit. Sohrab was a person who pissed everyone off with his blunt, provoking, and sarcastic remarks. However, amid an intense questioning-and-answering session that follows, the drama and confrontation among the friends steal the spotlight. At heart, the story seeks to identify the murderer of Sohrab, but in the process, the drama delivers shocking revelations, rivalries offer a reality check, and the viewer connects with it, keeping them engaged and invested.

The drama undoubtedly stirs, the unexpected ending hits hard with its realism, and you must not read it; you must experience it yourself. The film thrives on the complex human connections, communication, and what lies behind the smiling face, giving it a real touch.

Vinay Pathak took the spotlight, but Ranvir Shorey elevates the experience with his performance. And Rajat Kapoor’s storytelling deserves all the appreciation. Every character, in their own space, brings out the best, contributing to a drama that feels real and thrilling.
