 Excerpts:

You have had a long journey in the creative field. Tell us about it.

With over two decades of expertise, wisdom & knowledge in the Creative field, I have been fortunate to work with many prestigious organizations in my long career. Having worked across genres, languages & cultural diversity helped me to produce more than 5000 hours of compelling content for various clients in OTT, TV & Films space.

What is the purpose and vision of yours at FNP Media?

My sole purpose is to take FNP MEDIA to colossal heights. Create a powerful ecosystem for storytellers, creators & creatives to quickly turn ideas into reality. I am much focused to strengthen FNP Media’s content offering to achieve the mission, vision & values of our MD Mr. Vikaas Gutgutia. I wanted to make this SPACE extremely real, relevant & resonant for all age groups. We are making a lot of short films, OTT shows & we will make them with our own conviction, instead of looking for big platforms to commission it first. I personally feel every story needs to be inspiring, engaging, and entertaining. At the same time, it should create royalty and loyalty for the platform and viewers to stay connected to our limitless entertainment. We are uber bullish to keep strong gatekeepers to churn out Original content, engaging storylines & fresh talent across India.

How tough is it to tell the shorter version of stories.  Explain the prerequisites in such short concepts.

It’s too tough to be hard-hitting & to the point. To tell shorter stories, you don’t have time & luxury to create the world or set the characters’ equation first. The foremost prerequisite to keep is strong gatekeepers to churn out great concepts that resonate with the masses. The biggest mirror to scale meaningful stories is personal life experiences, cultures that one intercepts, crossroads that lead to success,  pain points, or the emotional trigger points that tell supreme human interest stories. I would say, incisive writing & a detailed creative eye is the key to relevance.

Tell us about the growth of FNP Media. What’s in pipeline?

We have already released more the  45 short films in the past & our short-form content has already garnered much appreciation in the creative circuit.  There are many more lined up in the queue at various stages of development & production. Besides this, we are continuously investing & developing compelling stories for various OTT clients. Few of our Magnum Opus projects are helmed by very senior writers & Directors from across the industry. Currently, there are 10-12 projects in the pipeline which we are very proud of.

What are the long-term goals?

I will do whatever it takes to create FNP Media content omnipresent on all platforms that are relevant to us. See I recently joined & we are cautiously putting strong footprints, investing in talented writers & Directors to create strong slates that fulfill the gap between platforms & viewers. We will try our best to create FOMO Content (fear of missing out) that creates peer pressure & travel through word of mouth.

Are there a lot of takers for the short concepts?

100 %…Short is beautiful & less is more. The short concepts will always be in trend and emerge as a clear winner for the on-the-go audience. It is a snappy way to create, share & inspire many lives. Tent pole studios such like Amazon Mini TV & Hotstar Quix are the latest example, who have invested heavily in the short version of stories.

What do you want to tell people who have similar aspirations of telling tales that are short?

I would like to say to storytellers, content creators & creatives. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Pitch your ideas, stories & concepts to us & once we find them relevant. We will help you to bring it from words to Screen. Many films are extensions of great short films. It pauses you, jolts your mind & changes your perspective about things. Let’s together create content that could educate, entertain, inspire people to make a difference in their lives.
