Among all snacks for morning breakfast or meals, masala dosa is preferred most by all people. Masala dosa has different varieties and it’s very healthy and tasty. Masala dosa is considered to be the best for your all-time hunger. Masala dosa is a South Indian delicacy but is preferred everywhere. Here we look at the yummy dal masala dosa recipe, where the fermentation process is not required and it’s without rice.

INGREDIENTS:

* One cup white urad dal.

* One cup moong dal.

* Green gram dal.

* Orange masoor dal.

Masala filling, as per your choice.

PROCEDURE:

* Soak all dals overnight in water.

* Grind it in the morning and add water if it’s required.

* The batter should be pancake or medium cake batter. Grinding is very important for dosa batter.

* As this dosa batter is not fermented, it can be stored for two to three days.

* Add salt at the time of making dosa

* Heat the non-stick tawa or iron pan. Once it is warm, spread dosa.

* Add ghee or oil as per your choice

* Cook until it’s brown.

* Before that keep masala filling ready, preferably classic aloo masala filling or potato filling.

* When dosa is golden brown add this potato masala or any filling of your choice like poddy masala or cheese or paneer etc.

* Scrape it out once done and you don’t need to cook on another side.

Your yummy masala dosa is ready. Try to understand a few things while making masala dosa. Don’t put the batter on too hot or cold tawa. Spread dosa on medium heat and then increase the heat while cooking.
