Sam Raimi talks of directing Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4, and surprisingly the director joked and said that Tobey Maguire, who acquired fame with the iconic character Spider-Man would break his neck.
Talking to Los Angeles Time, Sam said, “I love Spider-Man.” “And I love Tom Holland in the role. [But] if I made a Spider-Man movie, it would probably have to be with Tobey or he’d break my neck,”
For those who do not know, Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire intended to have their Spider-Man 4 hit back when Tobey was the lead. Notwithstanding, the contract tumbled off, and Andrew Garfield was given the mantle, as stated in Koi Moi.
The very recent sequel of Spiderman, No Way Home witnessed Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield entering the MCU with cameo roles. However, as per reports, it was stated that the 4th sequel will hit too with Zendaya starring as well and will be helmed by Jon Watts.
