India has celebrated all kinds of sports, from cricket to kabaddi. In fact, it has promoted all of them through several tournaments and provided opportunities to the athletes in India. Football is one of the most well-known games after cricket, in India. In fact, India has got its national cricket team too. Football has received a really good response in India, and love from the football fans. But it didn’t get as much recognition as it deserved. Indian football deserves more love and support from the audience. As more love and support it gets from the audience, the more it grows.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) launched Indian Super League (ISL) in 2013, and since then football has gained a lot of importance in India. There are 10 teams and every team has got a great set of players. ISL has provided opportunities to many young aspiring footballers. In fact, the Indian football team has also done well at the international level and won several tournaments. But, that’s not all. As compared to cricket, the audience for football is less when someone sees and compares the audience of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Indian Super League (ISL). There are many footballers who need opportunities. Also, the Indian national cricket team needs encouragement and support from the fans as well. Many Indian football fans are strongly awaiting to see the Indian football squad in the FIFA World Cup.

Only the encouragement, love and support can help football grow in India, and help all the Indian footballers dream bigger.
