Namit Das has been trying every different genre as possible in his last few outings. Well-known film actor, Pitobash (Three Idiots fame, Junior 7), enjoyed his recent digital experience. He is part of the ZEE5 episodic show, Table No. 5. “As the title suggests, all the action takes place in a limited space, and each story is unique and bizarre,” states the actor. Zee5 may be is the new kid on the block in the Indian OTT content-scape. But, a babe in the wood, it most definitely is not. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Well-known lyricist, Swanand Kirkire, wants to add one more feather to his cap. Besides penning superhit songs, he also wants to act. Review of ZEE5 Originals: Impressive, interesting and varied
The Indian web scene is growing bigger by the day. Several OTT players (ALTBalaji, Hotstar and Voot) have gotten into the fray, hoping to entice a huge, skewed, youth demographic which broadcast TV ignores. The latest entrant is ZEE5.
