Abraam Pandey has steadily carved his space on television, and his recent comeback with Colors TV‘s Naagin 7 has once again brought him into the spotlight. The actor, who has earlier impressed audiences with his work in mythological dramas, is now part of one of the most successful Balaji Telefilms shows. With Naagin 7 already enjoying strong ratings and a loyal fan base, Abraam’s entry has added fresh curiosity around his character. He has entered the show as an Army officer.
Speaking about his first reaction when he was offered the show, Abraam shared that the moment was filled with both happiness and a sense of duty. He admitted that being approached for Naagin 7 felt special because the franchise carries a strong legacy. According to him, it is not just another daily soap but a brand that viewers have supported for years.
“Honestly, my first reaction was excitement mixed with responsibility. Naagin is not just another show – it’s a brand with a loyal audience that has followed it for years. When you step into a franchise like Naagin 7, you’re aware that viewers already have expectations. But I didn’t look at it as pressure in a negative way. I saw it as an opportunity. When a show has that kind of fan base, it pushes you to raise your own standards. For me, it became about doing justice to the character and contributing something fresh while respecting the legacy,” Abraam said.
The actor also opened up about how working in a supernatural drama is different from his earlier mythological projects. He explained that mythological shows demand a certain style in dialogue delivery and body language. The characters are often larger than life, and the tone is more formal.
“Mythological shows have a very different rhythm. The dialogue is often more formal and elevated, and the characters represent larger-than-life values. There’s a certain grace and discipline required in the way you speak and move. In a supernatural series like Naagin, the world is mystical, but the emotions are very human and immediate. The reactions need to feel real. The challenge is to stay believable even when the situations are extraordinary. For me, the biggest difference is that tone – mythology is more classical, while supernatural drama is more contemporary and emotionally driven,” he concluded.
Best of luck!!
