As mentioned by us, Namrata has landed in Chandigarh and has, in fact, started shooting.
We at IWMBuzz.com got to speak to Namrata to get her first thoughts on her entry in the show and more.
Talking about her entry in the Hindi TV scenario, she says, “My audition for the show went very well. In fact, I was positive about my audition, and I had an intuition of bagging the role. So I started following the show and observed the character of Sahana.”
Speaking about her similarity to the character of Sahana, Namrata states, “I am also a soft person like Sahana. When I observed her, I felt as though it would be easier for me to carry Sahana well. Her character is strong, emotional and intense. Sahana shares a strong bond with her family, and I feel the same way. As I step into this role, I am acutely aware of the significant responsibility that comes with it, and I will strive to fulfil that role to the best of my ability.”
In fact, the start has been very promising for Namrata, as many on the set feel that she identifies with Sahana a lot. “Yes, I have also heard it from a lot of people on the set. Our body texture and eyes match. I am happy that I got a positive feeling on my first day. I am glad that I have got to perform on such a big platform. The production team is great to work with,” says the actress.
Namrata’s inclusion was an overnight decision. “I had one day to make up my mind to reach Chandigarh for the shoot. It was hectic, but I am happy after starting my shoot.”
Namrata ends by saying that she waited for two years and hoped to get a big project that would make her happy. “Bagging Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan has indeed made my stars brighter.”
All the very best!!
