Actor Saarvie Omana, who is currently seen playing Anu’s bestie, Simran in Zee TV‘s Tumm Se Tumm Tak, produced by Studio LSD, is gaining attention for her promising screen presence and honesty toward her craft. While audiences are connecting with her character, Saarvie is equally vocal about the realities of the entertainment industry and her personal journey.
Saarvie says career and opportunities matter to everyone, but finding the right ones today is not easy. Sharing her thoughts on the rising competition in the industry, she says the criteria for casting have changed significantly. “The level of competition is really, really high, as nowadays people don’t look for talent first. They look for followers. Then the brief comes that the girl should be fair, pretty and beautiful like Alia Bhatt. Only after that comes talent. So yes, competition is high and pointless at the same time. Talent matters more than complexion,” she says.
The actress believes luck plays a much bigger role than most admit. For her, talent and effort are important, but luck often decides how far those efforts go. “Yes, I fully agree that luck works like a wonder in our industry. People are hardworking and trying to reach somewhere in life, but luck comes first for sure. Only hard work won’t help,” she adds.
With a busy shooting schedule, Saarvie shares that balancing work and personal life remains a major challenge. While she gives her best professionally, self-care often takes a back seat. “I manage my work life quite well. It’s just that I am not able to manage my personal life with that. I take myself very lightly and keep everything aside in front of my work. I don’t care about myself or my meals at all, so managing that is quite difficult for me,” she admits.
Despite the hurdles, Saarvie’s vision is clear. She dreams big and is determined to climb higher with dedication, discipline and impactful storytelling. “My ambition is to be on top, frankly speaking. I know how much effort I put into my work. But I didn’t get that recognition yet. I want people to know who Saarvie Omana is through my acting skills and my work. I want to inspire people with my journey. I want an impactful journey that people will praise or admire,” she concludes.
