Jennifer Aniston, an American actress, has revealed that Friends: The Reunion was more emotional than she had anticipated. After so many years apart, she said that reuniting with her co-stars Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry was cruel and melancholy.
On! Aniston spoke openly with Rob Lowe about her experience in Friends: The Reunion, a reunion special of the 1990s American television sitcom Friends, in which the primary cast returned to the original show’s sets. Friends was, she claimed, like taking a happy pill every day for 10 years.
In the sitcom, Aniston played Rachel Green, a character she created. On the special episode, she reconnected with all of her co-stars after nearly two decades. When she was asked about it, she said that a lot has changed since Friends because every one of them has taken separate paths.
She said that returning there was difficult. Furthermore, she stated that not just for herself, but also for her co-stars David Schwimmer and Matt Le Blanc, who both cried at one point. The actor stated that it hit them all harder than they had expected.
Meanwhile, Aniston recently debunked rumors that she was dating one of her show’s co-stars, David. She dismissed the rumors, claiming that David is akin to a brother figure to her.
