The plot is about a boy Badal and a girl Suman from a village who are deeply in love but are of a different cast. This show highlights the cast system in India and how people are more concerned about ones cast than pure love. The director spoke about taking inspiration from Sairat. He said our story has some modifications is the character and the story too. He Hope’s to bring a change in society and people’s mindset with his serial. The serial shows the background reality of Uttar Pradesh as this couple is from UP. The cast member Kinshuk Vaidya said he is honoured to be a part of such a motivating series. Also, actress Pranali Rathod who is making her debut with this show is way too happy because she is sure the story will win the audience hearts and will surely change their mindset.
The producer of the show is Rajesh Ram and he says he got this idea first when he saw the movie Sairat. As it was a Marathi movie and also a cinema most of the audience could not enjoy it as they were non-Marathi or not a cinema lover. But most of the people watch tv and hence remaking these movies as a serial would surely send the required message to the audience. This is not the typical saas-bahu serial but is an important issue of the society. And we are sure people are surely going to like the show as well as the story.
