The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa warning Rakhi that she was quiet till now as Rakhi was worried about her daughter’s troubles. Anupamaa says that whatever happened was not intentional. She promises that it won’t happen again, and she will take good care of her daughter. Rakhi laughs and says if Anupamaa would have treated Kinjal as her daughter this would have not happened. Baa says Anupamaa’s mother is ill and Jhilmil is on leave so what’s wrong if they made Kinjal do a little work. Everyone in the family is helping with chores. Rakhi says she would have sent ten servants if she was aware. Baa says she didn’t know it would be a problem if she made Kinjal do some work. Kinjal says it’s not about work but about comparison.
Rakhi says that they should be grateful that they got a bahu who is well educated and doesn’t mind making Rotis. Baa asks what is wrong with preparing rotis. She says that doing household chores for the family doesn’t make any woman inferior. Samar agrees and says even he helps by peeling vegetables and cleaning. He says nobody forced Kinjal to work, so she shouldn’t create an issue. Pakhi agrees and tells Kinjal to speak that they don’t force her. Rakhi calls them mannerless for targeting Kinjal and protecting Anupamaa.
The argument continues, Toshu tells Rakhi to stop. She tells him to not hide behind his mother’s pallu. Kinjal tells him to not interfere. Vanraj says Toshu stays in the same house, so he has the right to speak. Kavya blames Anupamaa for this as she kicked the maid. Baa says she brought an arrogant maid into the house. Their argument continues. Rakhi says that Kinjal working in the kitchen is wrong, Baa scolding her is wrong, every one targeting her is wrong. Anupamaa stops her saying everyone is wrong including Kinjal and Rakhi. As everyone is arguing without understanding each other’s perspectives. She says as a family they should figure it out together.
Rakhi says she is showing her greatness again. Anupamaa apologises for whatever happened today and says she will keep her promise made to Kinjal. She says she will not make Kinjal do any household chores and she will do everything. Later Vanraj shouts at Kavya for provoking Kinjal instead of helping her in work. Anupamaa tells Baa to forgive Kinjal as a daughter. Baa says Kinjal did wrong by involving her mother. Anupamaa says Kinjal can’t do that, someone else told Rakhi. She tells Baa to change and adjust to the new ways.
