The episode of Anupamaa starts with Vanraj seeing Samar lifting Anupamaa and telling the family that Anupamaa got her first online fees. Bapuji is happy for Anupamaa. Anupamaa touches Bapuji’s feet and takes blessings. Bapuji says that Anupamaa is the real Lakshmi in their house, as she entered their lives, she changed their fate and that even Vanraj got great success in his life.
Vanraj gets a call, and he assumes that his Boss has called him to tell him about his bonus. Vanraj answers the call. Boss scolds him as they lost their last project because of poor presentation. He asks Vanraj to fix it, or he may lose his job.
Kavya walks towards Vanraj and asks him why he did not answer her call. She says that she called him to tell that she got to know about the presentation and she wanted to sort it out with Vanraj.
Vanraj yells at Kavya saying that they lost the project because of Kavya. Vanraj says that if Kavya wouldn’t have presented alone and would have waited for 15 more minutes for Vanraj to come, then they would have got the project.
The family is waiting for Vanraj to come so they can start the pooja. Toshu tries calling Vanraj. Meanwhile, a watchman comes to Vanraj and asks for his Diwali gift. Vanraj gives him 50 rupees. Watchman says that even flat people give 100 rupees. Vanraj keeps his phone aside and starts yelling at the watchman.
Anupamaa sends him a text to come back home as his family is waiting for him. After that argument with the watchman, Vanraj checks his phone and sees missed calls from Toshu and realizes that his family must be waiting for him for the pooja. Vanraj rushes home.
Vanraj gets home and sees that Anupamaa is doing the pooja. He walks inside the house fuming. After the pooja, everyone goes outside to celebrate Diwali, while Anupamaa goes to Vanraj. Vanraj says that Anupamaa snatched his rights which he was having from 25 years.
