The world of Atwals now gets even more gripping with everything unexpected happening in the fourth/final season. Having first arrived during the COVID-19 pandemic, the thriller crime drama has kept viewers glued to the screen with ease across all three seasons, and the final isn’t any less—it’s dangerous, thrilling, revengeful, and far from what you expect. The SonyLIV crime-thriller web series is produced by Applause Entertainment and Edgestorm Ventures.
Undekhi, directed by Ashish R Shukla, has already had three seasons, and the storyline smartly kept everyone invested in just a murder case. And now Season 4 delivers mind-blowing finale drama that thrives on emotional wreckage, ruthless ambition, unexpected twists, shocking power shifts, and growing rivalry. To be honest, the fourth season is such that even if you haven’t watched the previous seasons, the storyline will make you feel included, taking you on a ride that is more deadly and dangerous than ever before.
The story continues with Rinku Paaji (Surya Sharma) at the heart of the chaos, standing rough and tough. However, beneath Rinku’s unbreakable exterior, the lingering pain of losing Muskan reveals his soft, loyal, and emotional side. Surya beautifully balances his character, moving from a deadly, dangerous man to an emotional guy in pain. Also in bloodbath, betrayal, and rivalry, Rinku’s emotional side highlights that beneath the brutality lies a man still haunted by love.
What really sets the plot for the fourth season is Surinder’s (Harsh Chhaya) release from jail after five long years. This marks a powerful turning point, bringing in tension, drama, and dangerous possibilities. From random killings and power battles to family tension, the series intensifies the battle for dominance. With every sequence comes a killing, and this pushes the storyline into darker, more unpredictable territory. Not just that, SP Barun Ghosh’s return adds a new twist, turning it gripping.
Gautam Rode, who has joined the show in the fourth season, brings a new angle to this murder mystery, and his performance is just a treat for the audience.
And what makes this season particularly delicious is its constant unpredictability. Every episode features deadly moves, rising family tensions, and hidden agendas, keeping viewers engaged.
Full score for the direction. Ashish R Shukla masters the art of portraying intense scenes with genuineness, and throughout the series, it feels thrilling. The cherry on the ice cream is the dialogue and writing, which keep it sharp and commanding, with no easy resolutions.
Some sequences were goosebump-inducing, like when Rajveer (Varun Badola) shot Deepika (Shruthy Menon). However, amidst the tense notes, Daman’s (Ankur Rathee) daughter, Samaira, turned out to be the point of ease.
With powerhouse performances from actors Harsh Chayaa, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Shruthy Menon, Ankur Rathee, Surya Sharma, and others, razor-edged twists, and a narrative that never loosens its grip, Undekhi — The Final Battle Season 4 is a deadly, engrossing spectacle that leaves a lasting impact.
IWMBuzz rates ‘Undekhi—The Final Battle S4’ 4 out of 5 stars.
