Today I’m feeling as blank as I am looking in the photo. Everyone is going through an extremely difficult time because of something that none of us thought will consume us so much. Even more than life itself. And that dilemma is followed by several questions, epiphanies and realisations. You feel so insignificant at such a time. It makes you feel helpless but humble. My takeaway from this is – count every blessing. Be grateful for everything and everyone who made you feel even remotely special. Be thankful for the privileges. No matter how insufficient you think they are, you don’t know what you would’ve done if you didn’t have them. Remind yourself to be kind, each day. Look out for others but also for yourself. Nobody’s mental health is at its best right now. Be aware. Reach out for help. We are all being pushed to an edge here. This is something we have never experienced before and thus, don’t know how to deal with it. Do what you can. And excuse yourself from the pressure of “doing something productive”, whenever you feel like it. If you have the choice of spending the day, staring at the ceiling, do that for all you care! This is all going to end soon. But we are going to have to now step into a world that will have changed beyond our imagination. That is inevitable. Prepare yourself for it in your best capacity. And most importantly, breathe. We are all in this together. Lonely, but together. Never forget that! Stay in, friends. Stay safe. Lots of love, always x
