Chris Evans, best known for his role as Captain America in the Avengers franchise, has been named the “Attractive Man Alive” by PEOPLE Magazine in their annual list for 2022. The honor comes as no surprise as the 41-year-old actor is not only a talented performer but also a great looker. However, it turns out that Evans keeps his skincare routine surprisingly simple and fuss-free.
When asked by InStyle about the grooming products he can’t live without, Evans stated that he likes to keep things “simple, classic, and clean.” He added, “I just like things to be easy in my everyday life. I don’t even like shaving.” It turns out that Evans’ bath shelf comprises only a few trusty, over-the-counter products that don’t break the bank. The star reportedly uses a Dove soap bar, a Braun Series 3 shaver, Cetaphil moisturizing lotion, Old Spice classic deodorant, Chapstick classic original, and a Tancho High-Grade tique stick. In total, Evans spends only $111 on his skincare and grooming routine.
On being hailed the “Attractive Man Alive,” Evans revealed that he’s still adjusting to the new title. “My mom will be so happy. She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about,” he said. Additionally, Evans opened up about trying to manage a healthy work-life balance in his 40s. He mentioned that when it comes to seeking out the people he plays, it’s more of an issue of where the movie shoots. Evans stated, “I’m too old to be living out of a suitcase for six months and I’ve settled into a nicer phase where I’m just happy being at home.”
In addition to his skincare routine, Evans has had a great year on the work front. He starred in Pixar’s Lightyear and Netflix’s Gray Man and was praised for his performance in both films. He also filmed three new movies, including 2023’s Ghosted for AppleTV+. With his talent, good looks, and simple grooming routine, it’s no wonder that Chris Evans has been named the “Attractive Man Alive” by PEOPLE Magazine.
