Malaika Arora is one of Bollywood’s hotties. She is understood to be one of the fittest actresses in B-town. She puts in a lot of effort to remain healthy and in shape. She has a strict routine that she follows every day of rigorous workouts and staying active, paired with a strict diet. Here are some of her fitness and diet secrets that you could take tips from!

According to a News 18 report, She believes in having a routine that she chooses to follow every day. She starts her day with a relaxing session of morning yoga. She claims that yoga is her favorite exercise and usually dedicates 60 minutes a day to it. Next, she steps out for a variety of fitness activities like HIIT, walking, running, swimming, and so on. The actress also revealed that walking is great to not only improve but also maintain overall health. She makes it a point to at least go out for a 30-minute walk every day.

Malaika also reveals quite a few of her diet secrets! As per a Times Of India report, the actress revealed “I do intermittent fasting, so I don’t eat anything in the morning because my last meal is at 7-7:30 in the night. So, I fast for about 16 to 18 hours. I start my day with a lot of liquids, which is warm water, ghee, or coconut oil, in the morning. The liquid could be whatever you like-plain water, jeera water, or water with lime. I do all of that in the morning and I break my fast with nuts-walnuts and a mix of nuts that I have”.

She also added, “I have a proper full lunch, which includes a bit of carb and good fats. I have something for snacks in the evening-a very light, healthy snack. And I have my dinner by 7 pm. So, it can be a little of everything-vegetables, or if you’re a meat-eater then meat, eggs, or a bit of legume or lentils. I divide it and make sure to try and have as wholesome a meal as possible. And that’s it. I don’t have anything after 7 pm.”

She also reveals that all her meals are home-cooked and that she rarely eats out. In a News 18 report, the actress did however say that she keeps changing her diet according to what suits her body best! She also said that she doesn’t believe in dieting and she just eats what her “body demands and mind desires,” in moderation, “be it avocados or biryani.”

Her final advice to people wanting to stay fit is, “Each individual has their own fitness goals which they want to achieve. My only advice to my readers is to follow a routine, eat right and work hard to bring balance between your body, mind, and soul to the best of your abilities and become the ideal version of yourself.”
