For her part in The Devil Wears Prada, Anne Hathaway established herself as a cultural figure, and when necessary, she works out hard in the gym in the manner of Andy Sachs. She enlists a PT and nearly completely alters her regimen while getting ready for a film: “It’s a whole different story when I’m working on a film,” she told Shape.

You’ll have to admit, though, that she’s one of those celebrities that always seems to have boundless energy and that glow, so we were curious to find out precisely what she does when she’s not filming.

We first spoke with celebrity personal trainer Ramona Braganza, who had previously worked with Anne for her roles in Get Smart and Rachel Getting Married as well as for the two months before Anne’s 2009 Oscar presentation.

To our great joy, she has a number of straightforward suggestions that instantly helped Anne and might do the same for you.

Before we continue, let me say that morning workouts aren’t for everyone. However, if you do find yourself with some extra time in the morning and you don’t have trouble putting words together before 11 am, then getting up and moving around can give you a strong confidence boost to start the day. This is because exercise releases endorphins, which are happy hormones. Additionally, it means your workout is finished and you can concentrate on the other items on your to-do list; for Anne and her hectic schedule, this is a no-brainer.
