1. Will There Be Sneaks? Will enjoys breaking the rules in “Something for Nothing” and thinks he’s clever enough to get away with it. When he breaks curfew, it becomes a goal to escape getting caught by any of the adults by ducking, rolling, and leaping under furniture. Still, the scene’s peak comes when Will celebrates his triumph too soon, only to have his bubble blown by his aunt and uncle. Will abandons all attempts at stealthy movement as his joyous dance is cut short, stomping up the stairs and likely awakening the rest of the household.
2. William Shatner Laughing It Up “Eye, Tooth” is a phrase that means “eye, tooth.” Following an argument between Will and Carlton that sends guest star William Shatner to the dentist, the two pursue him to beg his forgiveness. All ideas of a heartfelt apology, on the other hand, are swiftly forgotten once another mishap ends in everyone succumbing to the effects of nitrous oxide. They burst into spontaneous dancing, find enjoyment in the various huge props, and succumb to crazy “Star Trek” inspired hallucinations as their conduct grows goofier by the minute. You don’t have to be high on laughing gas to find this situation amusing, as the effects of the drug continue to manifest.
3. Will succumbs to hypnosis “Save the Last Trance for Me,” says the narrator.
On the same evening that Nicky’s school admissions officer pays the Banks a home visit, Will finds himself the accidental victim of hypnosis. When Will starts acting out in front of the admissions officer, the rest of the family thinks he’s simply being his regular zany self, trouble follows. Will does not know his activities, therefore the flawless transition between each ring is equally amusing. Nonetheless, his conduct while in the trance is so wonderfully cheeky that we can’t help but laugh out loud, whether he’s stashing goodies, spouting jokes, or escaping a time out.
4. Will and Carlton’s Horrible Double Date “I don’t barbecue,” says the narrator. On a scale of how horrible a date can be, this one ranks near the bottom. While the night begins well enough, everything goes awry when one of their dates’ boyfriends arrives. Mad Dog is not someone you want to mess with, and when he discovers them in the flat, they end up jumping out the window in their underwear after a sequence of terrible but entertaining incidents. Unfortunately, they have no idea how high they are or how it would appear to passers-by. The scenario gradually spirals out of control, culminating in a comically inept rescue effort.
5. Will starts acting a little melodramatically. “I, Whoops, There It Is,” the narrator exclaims. When Will Smith indulges in a bit of overacting, it never fails to make us grin. When Ashley confronts Will for invading her personal life, he responds by falling to his knees in an overly dramatic display of agony. Try to keep a straight face as Will falls to his knees and performs an interpretive dance to show his pain.
6. Will has arrived in Bel-Air. “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” Will’s arrival in Bel-Air signals that everyone’s lives are going to be “flipped turned upside down.” Will gets a little carried away in announcing his arrival as he knocks on the door to the tune of Soul II Soul’s “Back To Life.” It takes the newcomer some time to acclimate to his new surroundings once Geoffrey allows him in, even mistaking the butler for his uncle. But it doesn’t take him long to clash with his uncle, laying the framework for a difficult relationship that will keep us entertained throughout the series.
