CINTAA, the governing body, announced on its social media handles that it has decided to expel actor Alok Nath.
Alok Nath, as many are aware, has been accused of rape and sexual misconduct.
TV veteran Vinta Nanda accused Alok of rape, as part of the ongoing #metoo movement, and later other women too spoke against Alok and his lowly behaviour. Currently, the Vinta Nanda-Alok Nath case is sub-judice.
CINTAA wrote that owing too all the allegations against Nath, they decided to expel him.
Alok remained unavailable for a comment.
