In today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Mahima informs Birlas that a search warrant has been issued against Goenkas. She says they should visit Goenkas too. Abhimanyu tries to stop Mahima from going to Goenkas. He says Goenkas will feel insulted with this search warrant. Abhimanyu sides with Goenkas and says they are not someone who will hide Kairav at home. Mahima refuses to listen to Abhimanyu and gets adamant to visit Goenkas. She adds that Abhimanyu cannot see her pain over Akshara and her family. Manjiri and Harsh ask Abhimanyu to let Mahima do whatever she wants for her satisfaction. Abhimanyu stands mum.
Then in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Mahima says to Abhimanyu that he should learn from Akshara as she can leave the world for her family. Akshara learns Vansh has hidden Kairav in the storeroom. She decides to inform Abhimanyu about the same. Vansh stops Akshara from telling about Kairav to anyone. Akshara gets confused. Inspector along with Birlas visit Goenkas. Manish asks if they have a search warrant. Inspector shows the search warrant. Abhimanyu on Birlas’ behalf apologises to Manish. Manish allows the inspector to search the house. Akhilesh says they can never go against the law. Akshara decides to reveal to Abhimanyu about Kairav. Vansh asks Akshara to think about Kairav too before telling Abhimanyu.
Then in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vansh says that Kairav is ill-treated in the jail. Akshara stands confused. Inspector searches for Kairav at Goenka house. Abhimanyu asks the Inspector to be kind. The inspector asks Abhimanyu not to interrupt or else he will put him behind the bars too. Manjiri stops Abhimanyu from interrupting. Akshara thinks she should tell Abhimanyu about Kairav else he will not be able to trust her ever again. Vansh tries to stop Akshara from revealing the truth. Inspector decides to check the storeroom. Kairav gets scared. Vansh decides to protect Kairav at any cost. Akshara tries to tell Abhimanyu about Kairav but fails. Inspector informs Birlas that Kairav is not traced.
Lastly, in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kairav escapes from the window. Abhimanyu apologises to Goenkas. Akshara asks Abhimanyu not to be sorry. Akshara bid adieu to Goenkas. Vansh decides to drop Akshara. Akshara and Vansh worry about Kairav. Vansh says Kairav wasn’t well. He decides to look for Kairav. Akshara asks Vansh to inform her if he found Kairav. Vansh refuses to inform Akshara. He says she will inform Abhimanyu. Akshara assures Vansh that Abhimanyu will understand her. Later, Manjiri and Birlas pray for Abhimanyu’s surgery. Akshara gets a call from Kairav. She confronts Kairav about escaping from the jail. Kairav asks Akshara to meet him for one last time before he leaves the country. Akshara tries to convince Kairav to surrender as his action will go against him. Kairav refuses to listen to Akshara. Akshara agrees to meet Kairav. Abhimanyu overhears Kairav and Akshara’s talk.
