Dev DD resembles a modernized variant of Devdas where women’s liberation, sexism, homophobia and a lot of different things society will not talk about, being stressed upon. It spins around Vicky; the kind of young lady society always disapproves of. She smokes, drinks, concedes how much she adores s*x and a women’s activist at heart.
