Every woman hopes for a unique proposal, and what better setting could there be than a stadium filled with thousands of spectators to make that happen? During the current India-Netherlands game being played at the storied Sydney Cricket Ground, a man made the decision to propose to his fiancée.
Love and happiness are both included in marriage proposals. While the T20 World Cup is currently underway in Australia and cricket fans are devotedly following every play, one man went above and beyond to exploit the occasion to pop the question to his girlfriend. During India’s game versus the Netherlands, this took place. A man was caught on camera during the second innings of the India-Netherlands game proposing to his girlfriend while holding a ring in his hand. The sweet moment ended happily when the girl said yes. The ICC posted a video of the proposal on Instagram, and it has since become popular.
The video’s description stated, “She said yes.” The man is seen in the video getting down on his knees and pulling out a ring. The couple’s expression of satisfaction is unmatched. Look at this:
The video has received over 161K likes since being uploaded. The incident happened in the seventh over of the Dutch batting order. India was in a strong position at that point because the Netherlands was suffering on 28/2.
