Kanika Maheshwari and her businessman turned Producer husband Ankur Ghai got married in the year 2012. They are presently enjoying blissful parenthood with their son Riyansh Ghai who was born in 2015.

Kanika who is popularly known for her role of Meenakshi Rathi in Diya Aur Baati Hum is a happy mother and a devoted wife. In a candid talk with IWMBuzz.com, Kanika talks of her love life and more on her husband Ankur.

If you had to use just one word to describe your partner, what would it be? (Sexy, beautiful or elegant)?

Elegant

Given a chance, what would be the one thing you would change about your partner?

I don’t want to change anything about my partner. That’s the most dangerous thing to do, to change someone

What is it that you like the most about your partner?

The best thing I like is the manner in which we are so much alike. We can laugh at the same jokes and cry at the same things

What was it about your partner that caught your attention when you met for the first time?

My husband Ankur and I were in the same class. He used to trouble the teachers so much and I had the feeling, ‘Oh my God, this child is so notorious. So this is what caught my first attention (smiles)

Which song makes you think about your partner?

The song ‘Main Teri Mohabbat Main’ from the film Tridev

Who is more annoying between the two?

 He is the one who annoys me a lot

At times, I call him Ankudi or Kuku. He calls me Kanu

Of course, men have to say sorry. And it is him always

It is me

One ‘happy in love’ success mantra? 

It is better not to change your partners and try to accept them with their flaws. Nobody is perfect.
